Weaning off of Effexor

I'm sorry to hear about your depression, but it seems that very significant factors contributed to it. I for one, am thankful drugs like these are availbale. My mother suffered from bi-polar syndrome all he rlife, though it was never diagnosed.I'm just making assumptions now, based on what I know about thecondition and what I remember about her behaviour. had she had medication I think allof us woul have had a very different family life. So, I applaud you for what you're doing and how you're handling it. We all deserve tobe happy. BTW- thanks for the add.

...thanks for your comments.
it truly is a good thing that we have these medications. I think bi-polar disorder is probably one of those disorders that is just lately getting the attention it needs. Sorry to hear that your mom had to suffer with it....and as a result your family suffered also. My best friend was just recently diagnosed as bi-polar and it certainly makes so many of her past behaviors more understandable. I find it very interesting that so many "creative" people deal with either depression or bi-polar disorder. My art teacher from high school had a little sign on her desk that said, "Creative Minds Are Rarely Tidy".....isn't that great? :)
